About Accounting

Accounting is the measurement, processing and communication of financial information about economic entities. Accounting, which has been called the "language of business", measures the results of an organization's economic activities and conveys this information to a variety of users including investors, creditors, management, and regulators. Accounting has been variously been defined as the keeping or preparation of the financial records of an entity, the analysis, verification and reporting of such records.

About the Accounting Group at IJU

Imam Javad University College started to offer discontinuous B.A. program in Accounting in 2007. IJU has been also offering continuous B.A. program in Accounting and A.S. degree in Tax & Financial Affairs since 2008 and 2009 respectively. Currently, about 445 students are studying in these three academic degrees. About 170 students out of total 445 students are studying Accounting.
